About this Module

This module is designed to help you better understand the risk, regulatory, and legal environments for senior living operations. While every possible effort is made to keep residents, staff, and visitors safe, things can still go awry. By working through the lessons in this module, you will come to appreciate the complexity and prioritization of keeping all stakeholders safe and secure. It is not the intent to paint a negative picture of the industry; however, there will be actual cases of things gone wrong presented that will serve as very teachable moments for you. Sadly, we are programmed to remember the negatives. In this module, those examples, while negative, will likely cement the proper protocols in your mind to avoid similar outcomes in your future in this industry.
